Does the title ring a bell? Uh-huh I know it does. It happened to me as well uuh sometimes until now actually hehehe. I just read a blog post from That Health and Fitness Guy recently. And I think he’s right. It’s not about having time but actually making the time to exercise. We have 24 hours in one day, why can’t we have at least 30 minutes of them to exercise?
It’s tiring to go to the gym huh? That 30 minutes drive to the gym and you have to sweat and even get more tired after that 30-60 minutes workout then another 30 minutes to go home. Oh so much work so much energy needed uhh. Oh trust me, I also feel the same sometimes before going to the box. But is it really the only way to workout? Of course not!
So, we usually spend 8 hours of our weekdays to work right? You don’t have to sit for 8 hours in the office. Get your body moving. I’m the type of person who can’t stop moving as I get bored easily. I hate sitting on my chair for a long time, so I usually stand up and do some walking around the office. At least I got to move my body even if it only takes me 5-10 minutes. I tend to choose stairs instead of elevator. So my office is in the 23rd floor so I stopped at 22nd floor or 26th floor and take the stairs to 23rd floor. Pretty much the same when I want to go home, I go to another floor and take elevator from there.
It is okay if you are busy and can’t exercise everyday, you just need to find a way to move your body and starts with something small. There are many ways to exercise and you could find the workout plan on the internet
I know that some people are busier than the others but you could always make times to move your body at the office. At least that’s what I usually do. Admit it guys, you do still have time. Hey hey I’m not saying that you should go to the gym or exercise at home every single day for 1 hour. But again, as I have said you could make time to move your body. Starts with something small like what I did at my office. Usually if I am too tired to go to the box, I’ll just exercise at home. I just need my yoga mat and a laptop. I usually watch YouTube videos and follow the exercise. There are many guides on the internet about short duration exercise as well for those who have so little free time. There are 7 minutes workout plan, 30 minutes workout plan etc. So many things that you could choose!
It is okay if you are busy and can’t exercise for 1 hour. But it doesn’t hurt to actually make time to move your body. It actually is beneficial to your body as your body will get healthier. If you don’t have time during the weekdays as you’re feeling really really tired then it’s okay, you could do it on the weekend. Maybe morning jog or 5pm jog or go hiking or even just walk your dog! See? You could find many ways to move your body, you just need to make time for it.
